The EuroCoon Investment

More Than a Kitten. An Exceptional Beginning.
Bringing home a EuroCoon kitten is an investment in far more than a beautiful Maine Coon. Behind every kitten are carefully selected bloodlines, meticulous breeding decisions, extensive health testing, premium nutrition, veterinary care, professional socialization, and countless hours of hands-on attention.
Most importantly, our kittens are raised as part of our family.
Our kittens begin at $3,500, with individual pricing established following their evaluation at approximately six weeks of age.

1. Exceptional Bloodlines & Health
It Starts Long Before a Kitten Is Born
• Every EuroCoon litter represents months—and often years—of planning.
• Our breeding cats are selected from carefully researched European pedigrees, including champion bloodlines.
• We consider health, temperament, structure, coat, size, Maine Coon type, pedigree, and genetic compatibility when planning our pairings.
• Importing and developing these lines represents a significant investment, but beautiful pedigrees mean little without an equally serious commitment to health.

Our breeding program includes:
• Comprehensive genetic health screening
• HCM testing
• SMA testing
• PKD testing
• Cardiac screening, including echocardiograms
• Hip scans
• Routine veterinary care
• Reproductive veterinary care
• Ongoing health monitoring

Health screening is not something we do once and forget about. Responsible breeding requires continued testing, veterinary care, monitoring, and thoughtful decisions throughout each cat's breeding career.
Every EuroCoon kitten is also protected by our one-year genetic health guarantee.

2. Premium Nutrition
Building Healthy Cats From the Inside Out
Genetics are only part of the foundation.
Nutrition matters from the health of our breeding cats and pregnant queens to milk production, kitten development, muscle growth, bone development, energy, skin, coat, and overall condition.
Our cats and kittens are fed a premium diet, and we do not choose food based on what is easiest or least expensive.
Maine Coons are a large, slow-maturing breed. Growing kittens need appropriate levels of high-quality protein, fat, essential amino acids such as taurine, vitamins, minerals, and other nutrients to support their tremendous growth and development.

Why We Choose Evermore cat food

After years of trying and researching countless foods, we chose Evermore fresh cat food as an important part of our nutritional program.
We appreciate Evermore's emphasis on human-grade ingredients. Farm sourced, organic, high-quality animal proteins and organ meats, whole-food nutrition, transparent sourcing, and rigorous production standards. We believe the quality of what goes into our cats matters.  If we expect exceptional things from their bodies, we believe we should provide exceptional nutrition in return.
Your kitten will also go home with familiar food and detailed feeding recommendations along with an exclusive discount code to continue with Evermore. That way good nutrition and consistency can continue in your home.

3. The Heart of EuroCoon: How We Raise Our Kittens
This Is Where We Believe the Difference Is Made
Pedigrees can be researched.
Health tests can be performed.
Premium food can be purchased.
Time cannot.

A few very important factors we believe sets us apart from the rest.

We are extremely intentional about how we care for our queens. Our breeding queens are only bred for a maximum of about three years. Then between the ages of three and four they are retired to live the rest of their lives as pampered pets. We carefully space out litters to give each queen time to fully recover after raising a litter, because we recognize how physically and emotionally demanding motherhood can be. We strongly believe this is the most ethical way to protect our queens’ long‑term health and happiness. By retiring queens after only a few litters and continually introducing new lines, we also increase the genetic diversity within our program and ultimately the breed. A win‑win for our cats, the breed and our families. We do maintain a separate wait list for retired queens, but the wait is often several years.

Our kitten socialization program is an intensive 24-hour-a-day, seven-day-a-week commitment.
Our kittens aren't raised in a separate building and visited periodically.
They live with us.
They hear our voices when they wake up. They are held, cuddled, talked to, played with, groomed, carried, and included in everyday household life.
We spend countless hours with every litter, which means we don't simply know our kittens by their colors or collars—we know their personalities.
We know who is adventurous. Who wants to cuddle. Who follows us everywhere. Who wants to be involved in everything. Who needs a little extra encouragement.
We genuinely believe this level of involvement is one of the biggest reasons our kittens develop into the loving, confident, people-oriented, well-adjusted Maine Coons our families tell us they are.

Preparing Them for Real Life
Socialization means much more than cuddling.
As developmentally appropriate, our kittens experience:
• Frequent positive human interaction
• Handling by different people
• Grooming and brushing
• Nail trimming
• Ear and paw handling
• Being picked up and carried
• Normal household sounds and activity
• Different textures and surfaces
• Toys and enrichment
• Scratching surfaces
• Beds and blankets
• Carriers
• Multiple types of litter and litter boxes
• Individual attention
• Appropriate independence
• Sleeping with us
• General desensitization to everyday household life
Our goal is to send home a kitten who has already learned that people are safe, handling is normal, grooming is part of life, and new experiences don't have to be frightening.

4. Choosing Your EuroCoon Kitten
Six-Week Evaluation & Waitlist Selection
At approximately six weeks of age, each kitten receives an individual evaluation.
We consider characteristics including:
• Color and pattern
• Maine Coon type
• Structure
• Facial features
• Coat
• Pedigree
• Sex
• Individual characteristics
We then take professional photographs and establish individual pricing.
EuroCoon kittens begin at $3,500 and increase from there.
Only after this process is complete do we begin working through our waitlist.

Personality Matters
We don't believe choosing a kitten should simply mean choosing your favorite photograph.
A beautiful kitten isn't necessarily the right kitten for every household.
Because we spend so much time with them, we can tell you a great deal about their developing personalities.
Some families want an outgoing kitten who wants to participate in everything.
Others are looking for a quieter cuddle buddy.
Some homes include children, dogs, and other cats, while others are much calmer.
We use the information in your application to help guide you.
Please be thorough when applying. The better we understand your household and what you're looking for, the better we can help you find a wonderful match.

FaceTime Meet & Greets
We also offer FaceTime meet-and-greets.
See the kittens interact in real time, watch them play, ask questions, and get a much better sense of their personalities than photographs alone can provide.

5. From Reservation to Homecoming
The Experience Begins Before Pickup Day
Once you have chosen your kitten and we mutually agree that the placement is a good fit, a $500 deposit reserves your kitten.
The remaining balance is due at pickup.
But we don't disappear after receiving your deposit.
This is when we begin building the relationship we hope to have with you throughout your cat's life.

Watch Your Kitten Grow
Families receive frequent:
• Photographs
• Videos
• Developmental updates
• Personality updates
• Preparation information
• Feeding guidance
• Product recommendations
Updates are typically sent multiple times each week.
By pickup day, many of our families already feel like they know their kitten.

Preparing Your Home
We've spent years trying products designed for cats and Maine Coons.
Some are fantastic.
Some aren't.
Maine Coons are large cats, and many products made for the average house cat simply aren't a good fit.
Instead of making our families learn everything through expensive trial and error, we share what we've learned.
We provide recommendations for food, litter boxes, litter, grooming tools, beds, scratching products, toys, carriers, water fountains, home preparation, introductions to other pets, and general Maine Coon care.

6. The EuroCoon Welcome Home Experience
Everything They Need for Their Next Chapter
Every EuroCoon kitten goes home with an extensive welcome basket thoughtfully prepared for their transition.
This isn't a handful of promotional samples.
We choose items our kittens already know and enjoy so they can bring familiar foods, scents, textures, comfort items, and toys into their new home.

Your Welcome Basket Typically Includes:
• Evermore fresh cat food
• Kibble
• Treats
• Complete grooming kit
• Laser pointer
• Scratcher bed
• Soft bed
• Custom EuroCoon blanket carrying the familiar scent of our home
• Custom EuroCoon Cattery Massachusetts bag
• A generous assortment of favorite toys
Toy selections may include tunnels, feather wands, robotic chase balls, puzzles, mice, balls, and other current favorites.
Our families absolutely love these baskets, but there is a reason we put so much thought into them.
Your kitten is leaving the only home, people, mother, siblings, smells, and routine they have ever known.
Familiar food, bedding, scents, and toys can make that enormous transition a little more comfortable.

What Your Investment Really Represents

A EuroCoon kitten isn't the product of one litter.
They are the result of years of decisions.
Carefully selected bloodlines. Health testing. Veterinary care. Premium nutrition. Thoughtful pairings. Around-the-clock newborn care. Professional socialization. Enrichment. Grooming. Training. Individual evaluation. Professional photography. Family matching. Education. Preparation. And continued support.
But the greatest investment we make is our time.
There are no days off when we have kittens.
They become the center of our lives for the months they are here.
We watch them develop. We worry about them. We celebrate their milestones. We cuddle them while they sleep. We learn their personalities, their favorite toys, their favorite places to nap, and all of the tiny things that make each one different.
Most importantly, we love them wholeheartedly.
Eventually, we hand them to another family.
That part is never easy.
But then we receive the photographs and updates. We see them sleeping beside their new people, following children through the house, cuddling another pet, celebrating birthdays, or simply becoming part of another family's everyday life.
That's what makes all of the time and effort worth it.
Our love for them doesn't stop when they leave our home.

More Than a Kitten. A Member of Your Family.

Choosing a EuroCoon kitten is a decision you can feel good about—knowing you are supporting a thoughtful, responsible breeding program committed to the health, temperament, and preservation of the Maine Coon breed.

Our goal has never been to produce the largest number of kittens possible. Quality will always come before quantity.

We strive to raise Maine Coons we are genuinely proud to place our name behind: beautiful, healthy, exceptionally well-socialized cats with loving, confident temperaments who become deeply cherished members of their families.

At the same time, every breeding decision is made with the future of the breed in mind. Through carefully selected pedigrees, extensive health and genetic testing, and intentional pairings, we work to produce Maine Coons that represent the breed standard while prioritizing strong genetic health for future generations.

We aren't simply raising kittens for today. We are thoughtfully contributing to the next generation of Maine Coons while preparing each kitten for a lifetime of being loved.

That is the EuroCoon standard.
